The company says that the phone has also undergone over 14 military-grade tests to confirm it meets stringent durability standards. To add to their ruggedness, they have been certified with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making them extremely resistant to dust and water, according to tests by SGS in India.
In terms of design, the F29 series is said to be sleek and lightweight, weighing around 180 grams and just 7.55mm thick. Under the hood, there is a big 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging tech, and Oppo has teased a 300 percent network boost, likely aimed at refining connectivity in challenging regions.
On the performance front, leaks suggest the phone will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. Reports show that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, so the performance is predictable to be good. Moreover, it is said to have a strong aluminium alloy edge.
